Sani Pass Adventure
Sani PassSani Pass is a rugged 4X4 trail that takes you through beautiful mountain scenery into Lesotho where you can meet some of the indigenous Basotho people. Tours run up the pass almost every day, taking 4x4s up the rugged terrain.
The route, called the ‘roof of Africa’ has a nerve wracking final climb of over 800 metres in just 8 kilometres. The road zig-zags all the way up the pass eventually reaching a height of 2837 metres above sea level. With the highest road in Africa, the ‘roof of Africa’ is also known for having the highest pub in Africa.
