Administered by KwaZulu Wildlife, the Weenen Game Reserve has great game viewing opportunities with rhino, giraffe, hyena and a number of buck to be viewed. There is also good bird viewing to be had with 230 different species which can be seem from two hides overlooking the dam.
There is also an 8-kilometre guided walk through the reserve, after which visitors can enjoy relaxing at one of the three picnic sites.
