Wagendrift Dam

Located in the Wagendrift Reserve, this beautiful dam offers great boating and fishing opportunities with bass, carp and bluegill to be found in the dam. The dam is named after the wagons which used to travel through the area en-route to the Witwatersrand during the gold rush.
There is a 3-kilometre trail along the Bushman’s River where visitors can also experience great birding with fish eagle and black eagle to be spotted.
