For a truly spectacular view and a superb setting along with great wine and food, a visit to Cape Point Vineyards in Noordhoek is a must. Set against the backdrop of the Silvermine Nature Reserve and offering sweeping views out over the Noordhoek valley and beach – this is a vineyard with a difference. The estate produces award winning white wines as well as the Splattered Toad label where a portion of every bottle sold goes to the conservation of the endangered Western Leopard Toad.

In summer picnics can be enjoyed on the lawns, surrounded by fynbos and overlooking the dam. Arrive early to ‘claim’ one of the picnic benches, or bring along your own blankets. (Bookings are essential). There is a great jungle gym for children. Sundays are home to the popular Sunday Market beneath the tented canopy where local fresh produce is available to enjoy on site and to take home. (Market closed during the winter months).
