Boulders Beach
Simon's TownBoulders Beach offers the ability to get up close to a penguin colony. Penguins were first spotted in 1983 and have since grown in number, with the rich fishing area of False Bay making it the perfect home for these animals. The penguins create shallow burrows below the beach vegetation. Visitors can follow the wooden boardwalk over the dunes and through the vegetation to have an up-close experience of the birds.
