Hans Merensky Nature Reserve

Lowveld

Established as a nature reserve in 1953 and found along the banks of the Great Letaba River, this reserve has a vast variety of wildlife and is famous for its bird life.

Fantastic activities include hiking, picnics, mountain biking and horse riding. Most of the reserve is only accessible on foot. There is a game viewing self-drive, where you are likely to come across a number of antelope, zebra, wildebeest, warthog and giraffe.

There are camp sites available should you wish to stay over.
