Taung Dam

This dam was established in 1993 with the main purpose of irrigation. “Taung” means place of the lion, and was named after Chief Tau of the Bataung people.
The dam is located 17 km from Kolong River and is a great fishing spot. Anglers will love it here as this dam is famous for its bass fish.
There are also many family-friendly picnic spots to enjoy.
