This 3996 ha malaria free area is located 45 km north of Brits. It is a great area for bird watching and angling. Fish species include carp and yellow fish and 340 bird species can be spotted here.

The area experiences mild to hot weather and can get quite cold during winter months.

A campsite with basic facilities is available should you wish to stay over.

Bird watchers need to book in advance.
