Offering spectacular views of the Franschhoek Valley, the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve is a part of the UNESCO Cape Winelands Biosphere Reserve with a great variety of beautiful fynbos. The Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve has a number of hiking trails and is a must for nature lovers and hikers. Just 1 hour away from Cape Town, the reserve is a great day outing and on clear days you can even look out from the reserve and see Table Mountain.

Entrance is R20 per person, and children under 16 enter for free. Maps are available through the Franschhoek Tourism Office and Huguenot Museum.
