Bikini Beach
Gordons Bay
Slightly further along from the larger Gordon’s Bay beach, and backed by the Hottentots Holland mountains, is Bikini Beach – one of 6 Blue Flag beaches in Cape Town. Blue Flag status indicates that the beach is clean, safe and environmentally friendly. This popular beach has a relaxed holiday feel and is sheltered by the nearby Gordon’s Bay harbour. It is an excellent swimming beach, although the waves can be powerful, and the water is warm and clear. There are changing rooms, and plenty of shops and restaurants not too far away.
