Located just outside of Polokwane, this museum showcases rich BaSotho culture and visitors are able to visit traditional homestead exhibits that explain much of the BaSotho’s history.

This on-site cultural village offers visitors insight into the Bakone people which are a sub-group of the BaSotho.

This village remains in the same style as it was 25 years ago and is run by several leading BaSotho Members.

Explore the traditional homesteads, learn how to make a real fire, brew beer and see how maize is ground. There are also many handcrafting demonstrations including woodcarving, pottery, basketry and beadwork.

The craft shop sells the locally produced goods at affordable prices.

Other attractions nearby include archaeological sites as well as ancient rock paintings.
