It is a popular walking and jogging destination filled with pine and gum tree plantations. There are various signs throughout the forest showing you the various trails and routes this picturesque area has to offer. The Newlands reservoir in this forest supplies a huge amount of the area’s water and really adds to the serene ambiance of the forest as you will find many streams and gentle rivers flowing alongside the trails.
