Mountain bikers and trail runners will not want to miss out on a visit to the Garden Route Trail Park. The park is midway between George and Knysna and is nestled at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains and the Karatara River Gorge.

Carefully designed routes have been created to cater for riders of all levels with plenty of scenery, views and adrenalin to keep everyone happy. There are 20km’s of single-track and flowing turns, burms, rollers and river crossings. For runners the forest trail takes you into the upper reaches of the Karatara River with massive rock pools, waterfalls and boulders.

Facilities at the park include a picnic area, pump track and BMX track, bathrooms with showers and the Trail Cafe.
