East London is South Africa's only river port city and is found at the mouth of the Buffalo River. With a rich history of both Xhosa and Settler history, the city has many interesting cultural attractions to visit as well as long stretches of sandy beaches and, warm waters for a host of water and outdoor activities.
This relaxed and friendly city is well positioned between Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg to provide an ideal stopover.
