A popular seaside town, Jeffreys Bay is world-renowned for its excellent surf conditions and the town comes alive in June each year when surfers from across the globe arrive to compete in the Billabong Pro competition.

'J-Bay' as it is often known is a water-sport enthusiasts paradise with kite-surfing, windsurfing, fishing and scuba diving on offer. These waters are also a favourite playground for dolphins and, between July and October whales and their calves visit the bay.

Jeffreys Bay is en-route to Port Elizabeth or the famous Garden Route and is also in close proximity to nearby game reserves. Other activities to be enjoyed are sand boarding on spectacular dunes, hiking and mountain biking trails and exploration of the spectacular Baviaanskloof and Amatola region.
