This untamed wilderness is known for its sheltered coves, unspoilt beaches, and rocky outcrops. The beaches are wild and desolate and can sometimes only be reached by hike or on horseback helping to maintain the rugged nature of the area. This lush eco-paradise offers a breakaway into a calming land that has been left largely to its own devices.

The birthplace of Nelson Mandela, the Wild Coast is steeped in history and as you move further inland the Wild Coast turns into a series of rolling hills inhabited by farmers and small villages of the local Xhosa people.
