Storms River Village is the only town on the Garden Route that falls into the Eastern Cape. Storms River Village is a quiet, peaceful hamlet nestled between tall, old trees and beautiful mountains. A popular activity when staying in Storms River is the Tree Top Canopy tour where you fly through the surrounding forest while hanging from strong cables that stretch from tree to tree.

Storms River village acts as the ideal base to explore the Tsitsikamma National Park and its surrounding area. The Tsitsikamma National Park is 40 000ha of forested coastline and is South Africa's oldest and largest marine reserve. Tsitsikamma is the Khoi-San word for a place of many waters. Storms River mouth lies in the National Park and is the starting point for many hiking trails, including the magnificent Otter Trail. At Storm's River mouth visitors can enjoy a 30 minute walk through the coastal forest to the shaky suspension bridge or take a boat ride into the River Gorge.
