Located at the mouth of the Goukou River lagoon, is the seaside town of Stilbaai. This relatively small holiday town has white sandy beaches, safe swimming areas, and good surfing and angling. The town comes alive over December and Easter when locals spend their holidays at the seaside.
Various activities for the whole family are on offer including hiking and walking trails in nearby coastal nature reserves, visits to local arts and craft centres as well as viewing of ancient fish traps and various historical sites and landmarks.
