The seaside village of Struisbaai near Cape Agulhas is popular amongst holiday makers and boasts some 14 kilometres of uninterrupted sandy beach. The quaint harbour is used by both fishing boats and ski boats and watersports are plentiful.

The lighthouse at nearby Cape Agulhas is a popular attraction and is the second oldest lighthouse in South Africa. Visitors can climb the seventy-one steps which lead to the top of the lighthouse to admire the view at this most southernmost point of Africa.
