We are ideally located in the beautiful garden suburb of Walmer. An ideal getaway for families, but also conveniently located for corporate or contract clients. Less than five minutes to our popular beaches & within walking distance of a variety of shops, beauty salons & restaurants.
African Aquila Lodge takes its name from the majestic African Eagle.
It offers 4 family units & 1 couples unit, which are all fully equipped and beautifully appointed in a self-catering format, each with their own private entrance. For your convenience each unit has its own bathroom & fully fitted kitchenette, with dining area. Laundry can be done on request. Cleaning of units and linen change is done on day of arrival & then every 5 days during your stay. Guests are invited to relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon on their own private patio which is fitted with braai/barbeque facilities and overlooks the pool and tranquil garden.
All units have been tastefully decorated, making use of modern amenities. The rooms are comfortable, neat and inviting, ensuring that you as the guest has the ability to relax at the end of a busy day spent exploring or working in Port Elizabeth.
The in-room amenities include:
- Microwave.
- DSTV (hotel bouquet).
- Fully fitted kitchenette with dining area.
- Your own personal washing line and bathroom.
African Aquila offers per unit:
- A private entrance.
- A private and individually furnished patio area for entertaining with your own braai/barbeque facility.
Shared facilities include:
- A large, secluded garden with a beautiful swimming pool and secure off-street parking.
Available on request:
- Laundry and airport shuttle.
Please note:
- Check in times are anytime between 14h00 and no later than 20h00, unless by prior arrangement with management (not reception staff).
- Any late arrivals will be charged a minimum levy.
