"Heavenly is the brand printed on the vanity items provided in the tents. I couldn't have found a more accurate description.

The tent is spacious, complete with an A/C, minibar, fire place, two outdoor showers, hair dryer, intercom to the main quarters but no TV or phone to spoil the Out of Africa ambiance. The porch has a private plunge pool and two pool chairs and an umbrella. The plunge pool was too cold for us, still, we enjoyed the sun bath and star filled skies all the same.

The staff is exceptionally hospitable and cooperative. Two 4/w game drives are offered twice a day. The guide is knowledgeable and sharp, well trained eyesight and accommodates to all questions and comments very informatively and cordially. We especially enjoyed the variety and abundance of animals and birds all around, the hot chocolate and snack stops in the middle of the drive at the most picturesque of places, and the serine bushman river cruise.

The chef prepares the most exquisite of meals, and insures it is all freshly Halaal.
On return from game drives we are greeted with the warm scent of wood in the fire place, animal towel origami and chocolate on the mosquito-net bed and hot water in the spacious bath tub. Showers in the sun are especially enjoyable, even in cold weather were the hot water running out of the antique-look copper fixtures are indeed heavenly.

As value for money, we thought it was a bit overpriced since we do not take alcohol, and one has to be prepared for v poor internet connectivity available at the main lodge only. If we stayed for more than 2 nights the limited variety of available activities might have left something to be desired. Bush walks need to be arranged in advance and canoeing was out of season.

All in all, we were pampered in the romantic getaway. We strongly recommend it to Everyone! "
