Shayamanzi Houseboats offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Lebombo Mountains, and wildlife of the Pongola Game Reserve on the shores of Lake Jozini, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Guests have a choice of booking the Shayamanzi I Deluxe Cabins or the Shayamazni II Deluxe Cabins and can accommodate between 2 to 6 people. Each cabin has large sliding window doors that overlook the water and surrounding nature. It is also air-conditioned and has an ensuite bathroom. Guests also have the use of the Jacuzzi, lounge area, dining area, sun deck as well as a TV with DStv and a music system. The cruises include all meals, as well as bottomless coffee or tea, accommodation, Tiger fishing in season, game- and bird watching, a crew, as well as transfers from Jozini Tiger Lodge to the Houseboats.
As you lie in your oak paneled cabin, the stars reflecting on the water and the moonlight shining through the fluttering, drifting curtains, you wonder what could be more romantic. The hippos snorting in the nearby bay remind you that you are surrounded by nature at its best. The water system is top class resulting in a hot pressurized shower.
Entertainment is provided in the form of a 37” LCD screen with DSTV and a DVD Home Theatre System provides a wide variety of music to choose from. There is even karaoke for those keen on a humorous evening! The wet bar has a separate surround sound music system so that those relaxing in the Jacuzzi may choose their own rhythms. If that is not enough, there is also a dart board and please do bring your own board games.
