Prinskraal is an idyllic working farm on the Agulhas plains, close to Africa’s southernmost tip. The property dates back to the 18th century, and the farmhouse, which has been in the current owners’ family for four generations, has recently been renovated as self-catering accommodation for up to 12 guests.
Extensive gardens, a busy farmyard and a beautiful, rambling homestead vie with world-class local beaches and nature reserves for guests’ enjoyment.
There are four bedrooms where beds can be made up as singles or doubles, and a bunk bedroom for four children. Bedding, towels and swimming towels are provided.
Please note:
*** The farms around us are all large scale working farms that use commercial farm machinery. For your safety and their privacy please do not cross onto their property. The relevant gates are clearly marked or locked. Like farmers the world over, our neighbours are early to bed and early to rise. For this reason we ask that you refrain from playing loud music or throwing raucous parties.
*** Regrettably no dogs, will be allowed - farm animals don’t like four legged guests.
*** Children of all ages are most welcome but no tents, caravans, overnight visitors or children under 21 without appropriate adult supervision are allowed.
