"Our stay at Elephant Lake was most memorable as a couple, as it was our honeymoon. The service from the staff was most professional.The location of the hotel is excellent because it is a minute away from everything! We were called in the morning by a staff member to remind us that breakfast would be ending soon and that we should come down, so as not to miss out on a meal. This made us feel like family, not just guests at the hotel. The peace and serenity is unbelievable. St Lucia definitely lives up to its name Isimangaliso, God's wonder. The sounds of the hippos greeting us in the early hours of the morning is surely something to come back to. The view from any of the rooms at Elephant Lake Hotel is mesmerizing! A fond memory of Elephant Lake will be the hippos coming to the pool area to chew on some sweet grass. Even the hippos want to experience Elephant Lake! The picturesque lake is divinity personified! You may wonder if you are looking at a postcard.

The Umflozi Game drive was most enjoyable. To experience nature was breath taking no doubt!
