Kaapsehoop Adventures
Kaapsehoop
Backpackers, Self Catering
(5
rooms)
(14 customer reviews)
We have five separate rooms that can accommodate in total 24 pax at a time. We make use of alternative energy sources viz. solar lighting, gas and fire. Hot water is provided by a donkey boiler. Both our kitchen and bathroom are communal, with separate facilities for male and females. For exclusivity, bring your friends along and have the entire place to yourselves - special rates will apply.
The views are idyllic and if tranquillity is what you're after - you've found the right place.
We offer a number of activities - hiking, mountain biking, guided walks incl. sundowners and sunrises, trips to caves, waterfalls, old gold mines, archery and tours to Adams Calendar.
We are 10km from Kaapsehoop Village, situated in the forest, in the edge of the escarpment.
We recommend at least 2x4 vehicles during rainy season as there is a dirt road to reach the camp.
