Thornbay Accommodation is the prime seafront accommodation establishment in Doringbaai, a small town in southern Namaqualand, situated on the West Coast of South Africa. Here you can enjoy total relaxation in a safe and friendly environment.
Seafront ground or first floor fully equipped one or two bedroom apartments, each apartment has own entrance, own braai patio which overlooks the Doringbaai Harbour / lighthouse and sea, on the premises is a swimming pool / trampoline & games room as well as a fully stocked seafood shop, there are various restaurants and a wine cellar "on the jetty" 2 minutes’ walk from the apartment as well as various take-aways.
Secure parking is available on the premises. Bedding and towels (not beach towels) are supplied.

The climate is also perfect! Always 10 degrees cooler than the surrounding towns, with a sea breeze that makes you want to wear a jersey. The facility is kept very neat and well maintained. I loved the decor of the unit. Time and effort were surely taken. The kitchen is well stocked. We had peaceful sleeps on our beds - excellent mattresses! This establishment is also good for your holiday budget. The town has a lot of places to dine or get take-aways, at affordable prices, without compromising on the quality. We had some lovely, fresh seafood. I definitely recommend these s/c units. We are surely returning here in the future."
