Get away from your hectic lifestyle and relax at Reeds River Lodge. Let the sound of the clear running Skeerpoort River, the majestic sight of the Magalies Mountains and the music of nature calm you. We are situated close to the wedding venues on the western side of the Hartbeespoort Dam.
Reeds River Lodge offers guests a choice of 8 fully equipped self-catering units ranging from 2-Sleeper Units, 4-Sleeper Unit, 6- and 8-Sleeper Units.
The units are comfortably furnished, and each one has a fan, tea and coffee facilities, a kitchen that is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a stove as well as all the necessary pots and pans and cutlery. The units have a TV with Compact DSTV with limited channels (M-Net, movies, SABC channels, e-TV, sport channels). Braai facilities are available for all the units, and guests can also make use of the swimming pools. You only need to bring food, drinks, charcoal / wood, toiletries and pool towels, and you need not worry about anything else (maybe mosquito repellent during summer times for late afternoons outside chalets and fold-up chairs for fishing).
Various activities can be enjoyed in the area ranging from golf, mountain biking, hiking, boat rides, aerial cableway, horse riding, 4x4 trails, hot-air ballooning, and guests can also visit various restaurants and attractions such as the Harties Market, Bushbabies Monkey Sanctuary, Owl Rescue Centre and more.
Establishment facilities include wheelchair enabled (not all units), hiking and parking is available on the premises. There is a swimming pool next to Family Unit No 6 (which can be exclusively booked at an additional cost), an additional swimming pool at the big Lapa, big Lapa with bar facility (for functions) and fishing possibility in the River & in the Dam next to No 6 (more for the kids).
