Hillside Farm is ideally located for weary travellers to break their journey or as an opportunity for a family to experience Free State farm life.
Hillside is situated close to the N1 between Trompsburg and Springfontein in the Southern Free State. A perfect overnight stop for anyone traveling from Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and even KZN to the Eastern or Western Cape.
Accommodation is available in three different sized lodgings: Len’s Cottage, Garden View and The Tree House. In-room facilities include a mini fridge, microwave oven, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Establishment facilities include secure parking, swimming pool and a t tennis court.
Located behind a koppie and set in a beautiful garden, so our guests can fully appreciate the beauty of the renowned Free State countryside, sunset and expansive sky.
Please note:
*** We do not have a license to sell alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own drinks if you so wish.
*** All accommodation is non-smoking.
*** Check in time between 15h00 and 20h00. Check out time by 10h00, unless otherwise agreed.
*** We do not allow visiting pets as it disturbs our dogs, and consequently other guests.
*** There is a tennis court and a swimming pool in an enclosed area in the garden which you might like to make use of. The swimming pool is closed over during winter.
*** We have a policy of not taking or keeping any cash on the farm. Kindly note the deposit requirements.
