Our luxury guest house in Knysna offers guests access to a private lounge, bar and a stunning cliff-edge swimming pool. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair, served whilst dolphins and whales frolic, or yachts slip silently out between the Heads.
Four luxury en-suite rooms, with private balconies, capture the majestic Heads, the mighty Indian Ocean and a romantic fairytale view of the Knysna Lagoon and Outeniqua Mountains. Crisp percale cotton sheets & rich fabrics throughout offers our guests comfortable elegance.
A truly special guest house!
The tariffs quoted are per person per night and are inclusive of a Deluxe Continental Breakfast, as well as a Full English Breakfast. Breakfast is served in the dining area looking out across the sea from Knysna’s Famous Heads, guarding the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon.
* We do accept children.
Children can share with their parents in the Coney Glen suite (1 child on a mattress) or Fynbos Room (up to 2 children on mattresses).
In House Massages And Treatments:
We have recently partnered up with one of the beauty therapists in our area and she will come up to Headlands House to do massages and facials for the guests in the privacy of their room. This is quite a treat considering the view we have and a wonderful Indian head or full body massage while one looks out over the magnificent ocean is a perfect way to relax. We can also arrange couples’ treatments if a couple would like to treat themselves.
Special occasions:
If you have a honeymoon couple, or a couple celebrating an anniversary or birthday and they would like to have something special done in the room, please do let us know as we can organize flowers and chocolates and even a bottle of bubbly if that is what they would like.
Knysna Oyster Festival:
The Knysna Oyster Festival is taking place from 28 June to 08 July and there is an action packed 10 days, including the usual marathon and of course the cycle race. We still have accommodation, so send your clients down to us to spend “the best 10 days of their winter” with us at Headlands House. Please note that we have plenty of storage space for bicycles. We also organize breakfast packs for those who will be leaving early to participate in these races and of course can organize taxis for delivery to the start and collection from the finish. Send your fitness fanatics to us and let us organize massages for them after their race in the luxury of their rooms.
Personalized Tours In And Around Knysna:
We have a qualified guide on call who can personalize day trips to suit your clients. She takes guests on an amazing cruise on the lagoon in her own private speed boat and while your guests have a great time, they also learn out our beautiful town. Tide depending, they pop into the canals in Thesen Island and try and spot the Knysna Seahorse! She also does a wonderful cycling tour of the Plett wine farms… she collects our guests and drives them to Plett and provides bikes to cycle through the vineyards – a wonderful way to experience the terrain and to do some wine tasting along the way. She will drive you to Plett and then you can cycle to some of the wine farms to taste their up and coming wines. What a great way to see the Plett wine route! Let us know and we shall send you more information.
