The Homestead is a 24 room guest lodge in the Drakensberg, based on an English country inn. It has standard ensuite bedrooms and family units (two bedrooms with one bathroom) priced to suite the budget of the younger family, as well as air-conditioned deluxe rooms. The Executive suite with its four poster bed, spa bath and double shower is also suitable for a honeymoon couple.
A well-appointed gazebo and dining room provides for a perfect setting for weddings of +/-120 people. A Conference facility with accommodation is also available should people want to break free to somewhere to concentrate, plan, team-build, brain-storm or just build friendships and relax in tranquil surroundings.
Extended Cancellation Policy:
***Please note: should a booking be cancelled 15 days or less prior to the arrival date, clients will still be liable to pay the balance of the booking, directly to The Homestead (Bergville), as the cancellation policy for that duration is: “100% of the total cost is charged if cancelled 1 to 15 days before arrival.”
*** Additionally, a charge of R100 per room is levied on cancellations, at all times. This cancellation levy needs to be paid to The Homestead (Bergville) directly.
You are requested to familiarise yourself with the cancelation policy of the homestead as this takes priority.
