Welcome…Let us make this your home away from home away from home… We will make you comfortable in sunny Durban. We are within walking distance from 4 shopping centres (1km radius) and a 3 minute drive to local beaches but a walk to the beach is not for the faint hearted (2.2km).
Our guesthouse has a splash pool, a sundeck with sea and golf course views and a separate braai area for each suite.
Our facility is 3 star graded by the Tourism Council of S.A. There is secure parking for 2 cars per suite and 3 suites are separate from the main dwelling. The suites have been beautifully finished with fully tiled floors and oak cupboards. Suites have TV & DVD player ( a collection of over 350 DVD’s are available at no extra cost for those rainy days), with DSTV and air-con, fridge, microwave, kettle, glasses, cups, plates, knives, forks, spoons, and an iron and ironing board, back rooms have DVD player with DSTV and air-con, linen provided and rooms are serviced accordingly. We do not allow cooking in the rooms but do have separate kitchen for cooking use, breakfast, dinner or lunch packs are made on request.
Room Description:
Suite 1: 8-10 sleeper suite. Main bedroom has a queen bed, single bed and a double sleeper couch. 2nd bedroom has a Tribunk, queen size and full bathroom on suite separate from both rooms as well as an outside toilet and shower facility.
Suite 2: 6-8 sleeper suite. Main bedroom has a queen bed and a double sleeper couch. 2nd bedroom has a tribunk and a single bed, full bathroom on suite separate from both rooms.
Suite 3: 6-8 sleeper suite. Main bedroom has a queen bed and a double sleeper couch. 2nd bedroom has a tribunk and a single bed, full bathroom on suite separate from both rooms.
Suite 4: Honey moon suite. One main bedroom has a queen bed and 2 single beds with shower on suite.
Services:
• Fax/Scanner, Photocopy machine, Sundeck with full DSTV (HD) with seating for 25 guests.
• Secure parking, 3 Braai areas, Splash pool. Cutlery supplied.
• All linen supplied, just bring own beach towels and blankets if needed.
Terms and conditions:
1. Check in time is after 13h00, Check out time is strictly 10h00.
3. Complementary tea and coffee on arrival.
4. Breakfast is optional and must be booked the night before.
5. A conditionally refundable damage deposit is payable on all self-catering units.
6. Please note that if you are unable to stay for the entire period of your booking then the cancellation policy will take effect.
7. Washing can be done at cost per basket and paid up front. Basket then to be placed by front door of suite.
8. Cleaning excludes the washing of dishes except when it rains. Your unit will be cleaned daily between 08h00 and 11h30 with the exception of weekends and public holidays.
9. There is a hot and cold basin by the braai areas for dishes to be washed by guests. Braai facilities to be used with own firelighters and charcoal.
10. Breakfast cooking time may be arranged. Dinner to be started at no later than 18h00 so that cooking and cleaning is done by 20h30.
11. Free DVD’s, maximum 3 at a time.
12. No Smoking in suites is tolerated.
13. Guests will not be allowed to swim before 08h00 and no swimming will be permitted to guests after 19h00. Children under 12 needs to be accompanied by at least one adult. Our local Olympic swimming pool is open until 21h00 daily and unlimited swimming is available at our local Brighton Beach.
14. No loud music, fireworks, drugs or loud noise is tolerated on the property.
15. All facilities are for our guests only and therefore no visitors are allowed.
16. Parking area is exclusive for the parking of guest vehicles. Friends picking up guests are not permitted on the premises.
17. Should you not fully occupy your unit it does not entitle you to invite your own "guests or family" to fill the compliment.
18. Any items missing or broken will be charged for , including mattress and sheets if ironing is done on them, an ironing board and iron is provided.
19. Extra linen is provided in the cupboard if sleeper couch is utilized. The sleeper couch is not pushed open but 2 handles in the front are held and lifted open.
20. Bath towels may not be used at the beach.
21. Change of Towels - Friday to Friday guests or Monday to Monday guests. Bath towels will be changed on Monday & Wednesday.
22. The management and its staff expects every guest to display some house pride in picking up clothing, hanging towels and washing their own dishes. Dirty dishes left on the day of departure will be charged against your damage/key deposit.
23. A request in advance to management can be made for dishes to be washed at cost ayable in advance but no later than the specific morning.
24. Air-conditioning - Unit windows and doors need to be kept closed at all times when air-conditioners are in use. Machines need to be switched off when you leave your unit.
25. Please bring own beach towels and blankets if needed.
