Mountain View Country Estate Guesthouse offers farm-style accommodation. The Guesthouse is situated 9 km from Parys on the Fochville road. Parys is a town lying on the banks of the Vaal River in the Free State province of South Africa. Please note all rooms have toilets.
This self-catering guesthouse near Parys is surrounded by picturesque mountain land, the result of a meteorite, the size of Table Mountain collided with Earth some 2020 million years ago, creating this wonder of nature, the Vredefort Dome.
Our accommodation provides meals on a pre-arranged basis only. We provide accommodation for up to 24 guests. The facilities we have available are: nine elegantly furnished rooms with ensuite shower, basin and toilet. One room with twin 3/4 beds and four rooms with Queen beds and 4 rooms with Double or twin beds.
Our establishment is self-catering but breakfast, lunch and dinner available per arrangement.
Parys is fly-fishing territory with the Mighty Vaal River coursing through the 54 ha establishment. The Parys region is rich in bird (450 species spotted) and insect life. So bring your binoculars. You’re bound to see and hear a fish eagle.
