At the end of a quiet and leafy cul-de-sac, you'll find the cool, shuttered facade of Villa Grande. This elegant renovated 1920's villa offers a serene retreat within easy walking distance of the diverse attractions this vibrant university town has to offer.
The warm and stylish ambience of the lounge makes for the perfect place to relax over a cup of coffee and the newspaper or to unwind with tea and a book.
Drinks at the fireplace before dinner will help you work up an appetite for the delectable fare which awaits you in our restaurant, Niel @ Villa Grande. Very special breakfasts are served on the terrace under the shade of two ancient oak trees, making it a lovely way to start your day. Light lunches and tea with freshly baked scones are served on the terrace during the day.
At Villa Grande Guest House an eclectic décor style lends individual charm to each of the 12 ensuite bedrooms and our Honeymoon Suite with a Jacuzzi. We have an African Deluxe Room with a balcony and another one with a fireplace.
In the evening, we deliver complimentary port and water trays for you to enjoy in the luxury of your room. Our room service is available until 22h00 daily. All rooms are equipped with a direct dialing telephone, television, hairdryers, ceiling fans, heating and alarm clocks.
Please note:
* Check-in from 14h00 - 20h00 and check-out at 11h00. Early and late Check-ins must be arranged prior to arrival otherwise we take it as the booking is cancelled.
* We regret, no children are allowed.

I booked the Villa for wedding guests and made several changes on almost a daily basis, and still, the staff smiled and graciously met my every need. Karen in particular......well, I want to adopt her now! Nothing was ever too much trouble. Our guests ranged in age from 5 years old to 90 years old and everyone desires were met, no problem.Thank you Villa Grande for a truly fantastic stay!"
