Paulandi - Leeupoort is one of the Top finalists of the Sanlam Top Destination Awards 2017 in the self-catering, ungraded category.
Paulandi offers you peace and tranquillity in Bushveld paradise. It is situated in the malaria-free Leeupoort Holiday Village near Thabazimbi, Limpopo, on the R516, approximately 58 km from Thabazimbi and 72 km from Bela-Bela.
Paulandi is a 4-sleeper, self-catering unit in a game reserve, surrounded by the Waterberg Mountains. The reserve is home to 50 mammal species, 170 bird species and a variety of 114 trees. The wild life roams freely in the streets and graze between the houses. Over the years a very special bond has developed here between man and animal.
Several footpaths meander through a wide variety of indigenous trees. Guests can freely access the 823 ha nature reserve from 07h00 – 18h00 for walks, jogs, bicycle rides or motor rides where giraffes, wildebeest, a variety of antelope and other wild life species can be seen.
Leeupoort has a mild climate throughout the year. It is hot in summer with ample rain from September to April, usually in the form of afternoon thunder showers. During the dry winter months, the climate remains mild, although temperatures drop significantly at night.
The lush vegetation provides ample grazing for a variety of antelope like giraffe, blue wildebeest, eland, kudu, njala, impala, warthog and zebra. It is also a bird lover's paradise.
This 4-sleeper, self-catering holiday home consists of:
• 1 Main bedroom with double bed and a 9 000 BTU air conditioner.
• Full bathroom (bath, shower, basin and toilet).
• Living area with two single daybed and 24 000 BTU air conditioner.
• Open-plan kitchen, fully equipped, with an ice machine.
• The unit has a TV with the full DStv package.
• A 3X7 m wood deck which can be accessed via the living area or bedroom, with a covered braai area, pick-nick table and swing bench.
• Open air braai area and fire pit - fully equipment.
• Jungle gym for the little ones next to the outside braai area.
