Kambaku Lodges are highly sought after by local and international guests because of their prime location within the highly acclaimed Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
Being part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park, the Timbavati enjoys a wealth of incredible biodiversity of both Fauna and Flora as well as the amazing White Lions of the Timbavati.
Kambaku offers guests an exceptional safari experience, either by open safari vehicles or by foot. Expect to enjoy intimate sightings of the Big 5, White Lions, Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Hippo, and Crocodile as well as a large variety of other general game and birds whilst taking in the natural beauty of the real African bushveld.
In-Room facilities include: safe, overhead fan, hairdryer on request, private viewing veranda, power supply is 220V and adapters are available
The lodging facilities consist of sleeping accommodation in chalets for 40 persons with en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, bar, barbecue boma and swimming pool. One of the largest private game reserves, namely the Greater Kruger Park Game Reserve, borders on the opposite side of the river, where the following wildlife are regularly spotted from the lodge: buffalo, elephant, lion, waterbuck, kudu, impala. You can listen to the roar of lions at night. One of the entrance gates to the Kruger National Park is in Phalaborwa.
Please note
1. Facilities are only for checked-in guests, no visitors to access the property or utilize in-house facilities.
2. No extra guests in rooms, all booked guests must sign an indemnity forms at arrival.
3. The right of admission is reserved and by management's discretion.
4. The keys to the eoom once handed over are the responsibility of the guest, if keys are misplaced or lost there is a replacement fee per set.
5. We do not have a 24 hour reception; check-in:14h00 – 20h00. Check-out is 11h00.
6. We pride ourselves on a peaceful stay away from home and ask all guests to be considerate of others regarding noise levels.
