Drakenzicht is a privately owned golf course and lodge in Schoemanskloof offering weekend & holiday accommodation specifically for the local family market and business groups. It is set high up on a mountain top at 1380m above sea level on 250 hectares.
Right on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment where the grasslands of the Mpumalanga Highveld meets the warm Lowveld, it enjoys uninterrupted views of the Schoemanskloof valley with its spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
- Conveniently situated just 7km off the N4 road to Nelspruit.
- 2½ hour drive from Pretoria and O.R. Tambo International Airport.
- An ideal golf destination or weekend breakaway for the whole family.
- Golf, fishing and walking trails.
- The perfect stop-over on route from Johannesburg / Pretoria to the Kruger National Park, Mozambique or Swaziland.

We are in a malaria-free area and is a central base from which day excursions can be taken to any of the following attractions: Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim's Rest, Sabie, Graskop, Kaapsehoop, Sudwala caves and many more. We also offer conference facilities for smaller groups and functions.
Drakenzicht offers self catering accommodation for up to 22 guests in stone built chalets with thatched roofs. The rooms are decorated with natural fabrics in an earthy palette. All rooms are facing towards the spectacular view of the valley. No TVs in the units.
