Bakubung Bush Lodge is concealed within the rich expanses of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park and offers you everything you need to get in touch with the bush. These Pilanesberg lodges are set in an area where the Big 5 roam, a mere 2 hour drive from the hectic lifestyle of Johannesburg. Bakubung, or “People of the Hippo”, offers you everything you need in regards to comfortable and luxury accommodation.
With the bush just outside your window you will be able to relax and take in everything about the bush and the animals living around you. Bakubung Bush Lodge has some of the best accommodation in the Pilanesberg and offers an amazing family holiday experience.
Our standard rooms either have two double beds or one king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, including a shower, air-conditioner, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee machine, colour TV (with DSTV bouquet), a hairdryer, plug for electric shaver and internet connectivity. All hotel rooms have doors leading onto either a balcony or a patio, and have panoramic views of the Park and the Hippo Pool.
The Marula Grill Restaurant, Tlhutlwa pool bar, wildlife centre, game drives and bush walks, Bakubung Spa, Hippo kiddies club, Juniors Rangers, floodlit tennis court, volleyball court, kiddies play area, trampoline, and outdoor chess board.
Please note:
1) Our check: 16:00. Check out: 10:00.
2) A key and remote control deposit is charged to your account on arrival, this will be reversed on check-out upon return of the key and remote control.
3) An inventory will be done upon arrival and departure, any breakages will be charged for.
4) All units are self-catering
5) All guests are requested to minimise noise levels from 22:00 onwards as per the Parks Board rules.
6) Please advise us at least 48 hours prior to the arrival date of any transport requirements.
7) Pilanesberg National Park Gate fee per person and per car.
8) We require a minimum of two night stay on a weekend (i.e. Friday & Saturday).
9) All bookings are subject to availability.
10) Full pre-payment of accommodation amount is required within 7 days of making a reservation, in order to secure your booking.
11) Should you wish to make payment via credit card please note that the credit card used to make payment needs to be presented upon check-in at the hotel or lodge.
