"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cathbert Country Inn. The staff is friendly, helpful and provides useful tips on sights to visit, restaurants to try out, hiking trails etc. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and very well furbished (kingsize bed, comfortable couch, desk, table with chairs, tea and coffee making facilities with adjacent sink etc). Fresh flowers, cookies and candies were awaiting us in the room upon arrival. The views from the room's terrace over the wine estate and valley are breath taking. The garden adjacent to our room was lovely and private. The bathroom is spacious and bright (brighter than the living room which is somewhat dark). The only improvement to the room could be the pillows on the bed, which we thought were either too big or too fluffy. Breakfast offers many options. The spread of fresh fruit is excellent. We had dinner at Cathbert once and it was very good. The cook catered to me specially as i am vegetarian. The communal area of Cathbert is spacious, modern and has a tranquil atmosphere. The eco pool is lovely to look at but less inviting for swimming laps. In summary: we enjoyed every minute of our stay at Cathbert Country Inn. We will definitely be back!"
