Conveniently located in Hermanus, but slightly away from the hustle and bustle, Ridge House is a peaceful, romantic hideaway, less than two hours’ drive from Cape Town. Ridge House, as its name implies is situated on high ground. Due to our location, guests do need to be able to negotiate steps.
Ridge House offers four luxurious suites, all individually decorated and all offering spacious and comfortable en-suite accommodation and amenities. All suites have private sea-facing decks and spectacular views, while our two flagship suites, The Aloe Suite and The Rockpool Suite, each have a unique, private ‘Kolkol’ wood-fired hot tub.

Hermanus boasts a range of attractions including some of the world’s best land-based whale watching (Jul-Nov), the beautiful Hermanus Cliff Path, and a delightful choice of lovely restaurants, wine farms, galleries, shops, hidden alleyways, coffee shops and nightlife. The centre of town is a 10-minute walk or 1-minute drive from Ridge House.
