Balule River Camp, situated on the banks of the Olifants River, is located in the Balule Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Here the rhythms of nature dictate the movements of the animals and we are a privileged audience to these activities.
The Camp has been operating as a commercial lodge for the last 13 years, and has 6 rooms and accommodates a maximum of 12 guests, which ensures an exclusive, intimate experience of the African bush.
In-Room facilities: All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mozzi nets, hairdryers, safety boxes and complimentary tea & coffee. Screen doors ensure closeness to nature, while keeping the "creepy crawlies" out.
Establishment facilities: Laundry, fitness room, souvenir shop and Wi-Fi.
Kruger is one the world's most well-known wildlife sanctuaries, 80% of Kruger lies within the Limpopo region and it conserves over 147 mammal species, 507 birds species, 114 species of reptiles, 49 fish species and 300 tree species.
