Inviting charm and warmth of local hospitality on the edge of Maputo Bay, Santa Maria Machangulo. Campsite and Double Rooms with restaurant on site, make Bemugi’s a truly incredible experience for you, your friends and family.
We have 3 campsites between trees and gardens, 2 wooden houses each with 3 double rooms available for group booking or double booking.
Camp areas have all their own:
* Private water and electricity point.
* Ablution - shower, toilets and basin.
* Camp is cleaned and dishes washed every morning.
* fixed camp fire area with fire every night.
Double rooms:
* Each of the double sized rooms accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 8 years.
* Linen in supplied.
* Coffee and tea making facilities.
* Ensuite bathrooms with shower.
* Rooms are serviced daily.
* Bar fridge available.
Establishment facilities:
*Restaurant – we do catering for special events.
* 24 foot Catamaran boat cruiser.
* Rental vehicle for transport inland.
* Dhow for transport of supplied.
* Teka Teka LDA, ordering and delivering of food and supplies.
Situated in the edge of Maputo bay overlooking Inhaca Island. 50 meters from the launching site and open beach and walking distance to Hells Gate and Ponta Abril for fishing and snorkelling. 500 meter water separate Ithaca from the main land and main from Portuguese Island. Close to Maputo for shopping and Maputo Special Reserve.
