Monkey Thorn Guest Lodge is set in six hectares of indigenous gardens on the outskirts of White River, a quaint town located within easy reach of Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. There are nine private guests suites all with there own patio. A main lodge building that hosts the restaurant and lounge/bar area and a large veranda. A pool lapa and boma area is set away from the guest suites for our guests to enjoy.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant and there is a cold buffet with a selection of fruits, yogurts, muffins, cereals and juices with hot food cooked to order. There is a bar pool menu available through out the day and dinner is served a la carte in the restaurant in the evening from 6pm.
All the suites are large, 64m squared and open plan and are furnished with a king-size bed which can be converted to twin beds, there is a living area that has a couch for TV viewing (50 channels) and a kitchenette area for making coffee and for longer stay guests light snacks. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Additional facilities include air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries.
We are located 25km from the Kruger international Airport and 35km from the Kruger national park. Also withing a 50km radius there are numerous sites that can be found on the panoramic route. So the Lodge is perfect for stay in the Lowveld as we are central to everything.Read More ›
