"From the time I did the booking it was "smooth sailing". It was the first time in my life that any place has enquired what time I would arrive and to advise me that my cottage was ready and waiting. Everything is clean and fresh, with Sledge checking everyday to enquire if we needed anything. The cottage was cleaned everyday, so I had more time to relax. Anyone thinking of doing the garden route to look at flowers, can rather go the Rainbow Lodge. There is all colors and types of flowers to see. Absolutely beautiful. I think the name should be Rainbow Paradise, as that is what it is. Paradise, for anyone wanting to just relax and enjoy the silence.

"We stayed at Rainbow Lodge for a long weekend. It was such a peaceful stay with the most hospitable host. Sledge was very accommodating to our late check in and even offered a late check out. He provided the easiest directions to Rainbow lodge. The lodge itself was easily accessible with any vehicle with a small dirt road to access it. The cottage we stayed in was very homey and comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and was cleaned on a daily basis. The view was so beautiful and because the property is so large we were able to go on long walks or short walks depending on the day or the weather. I would highly recommend for a quick weekend getaway or a long tranquil week. "
