The main building and the chalets of Namib Desert Lodge are spread out along the foot of the fossilised dunes of the ancient Namib. A restaurant and bar, an inviting terrace with views of the fossilised dunes and two swimming pools beckon you to linger and relax.
These campsites are located under acacia trees on the bank of a dry riverbed and offer beautiful views of the 'fossilized' dunes of the primeval Namib.
They are equipped with electricity, water, grill area and windbreak and share several communal bathroom facilities. Just a few minutes' drive from the road to Sesriem, this camping site is ideally suited for nature lovers who want to experience Sossusvlei and at the same time love the silent starlit nights of the Namib Desert.
Namib Desert Lodge has two swimming pools, a salt and a fresh water pool. The restaurant and bar have an inviting terrace with magnificent views. Oryx antelope and springbok make frequent appearances at our illuminated watering place.
We have adapted the Standard Operating Procedures for all our service Centers and lodges in line with the Government of Namibia’s instructions to the tourism industry. We want to ensure the safest possible environment for our guests and employees whilst offering a comfortable, unforgettable Namibian experience.
