Unique to Cape Town, Ikhaya Safari Lodge is decorated in true African safari lodge style. The lounge boasts an enormous fireplace and a wine cellar with the main dining room in open thatch. Kudu and Wildebeest heads adorn the walls with Zebra skins scattered on the wooden floors.
Accommodation consists of 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, in colonial style with mosquito nets decorating the beds.
There are also 3 separate suites with stone walls and thatch ceilings, decorated in ethnic style. All rooms have tea trays.
Also available is a beautiful 1 bedroom self-catering cottage under thatch. It has an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The charming stone and thatch home, situated on 2 acres of beautiful gardens with tennis court and heated swimming pool in the Constantia wine valley is close to the city centre, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, golf courses, beaches, mountain walks, shopping centres with great restaurants.
Establishment facilities include:
* Caterers can be arranged for food requirements.
* Internet access.
* Informal conference facility/function room in boma, next to pool, seat maximum 24.
* Child minding on request.
* Laundry on request.
* Airport transfers on request.

* Check-in: 14:00 - 21:00 hours Check-out: 07:00 - 11:00 hours. It is essential for planning purposes for guests to let management know expected time of arrival on making the booking, or notifying them that you will call ahead or email the day before to confirm arrival time. Ikhaya does not have a night reception desk so arrangements have to be made for guests with late arrivals.
