Matt’s Rest has attracted and hosted many business and leisure guests from South Africa and aboard.
An establishment accommodating up to 30 guests choosing from bed and breakfast or self-catering apartments, all with their own private entrances and ample off road secure parking is available. All of our rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, heaters, tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridges, DSTV hotel Boutique and microwave on request. Providing the perfect balance between corporate and leisure accommodation. Each suites has its own character. We are ideally centrally situated, with close access to the N3 Mkondeni Industrial area, with all its industrial parks, indoor action sports arena, Oribi Airport, UKZN, shopping malls like Cascades Centre, mountain bike park & trails, Liberty Mall, Royal Show Grounds, Pietermaritzburg CBD, schools, hospitals and Victoria Office Park.
