The quiet and serene estate is a 25 minute drive away from the buzzing Cape Town centre.

No restaurant but you get afternoon tea and can order a cheese platter if you're staying in (we have a baby so we tended to). Cakes are excellent! White room was OK but a little worn, perhaps they gave us this one as we had a child. Carpet was v dirty and needed a decent clean. Ask for the 4 poster room off the main room in the house. Amazing view of table mountain. Lovely hummingbirds and gorgeous dogs!"
