Hlakula Resorts is a Mopani based hospitality company found by rural indigenous boys who grew up in this greener part of South Africa. I started as a hobby playing around with boats but while we were playing in this dam every summer time there were a lot of people were interested in what we were doing for fun coming to hire a boat for a ride, then made money out of that, then I realized that this is fun + business.
Our resort is situated along the blue mountains of Drakensberg near Hoedspruit and Tour Dam Lodge near Tzaneen both of them owned by Hlakula Resorts to give our lovely customers both of worlds taste. Situated on the Limpopo's eastern border in the scenic Lowveld, close to the largest concentration of private game reserves and lodges in the southern hemisphere, the Hoedspruit area provides a feast of tourism activities to cater for all tastes.
Hoedspruit is the perfect base from which to explore the Kruger National Park, Blyde river canyon and the large number of private nature reserves situated on the border of the Kruger National park and the town is accessible by road, rail and air.
