At Sterland self catering you can be assured of warm, Karoo hospitality, a diversity of many things to do that you will find at no other guest house in Sutherland. Enjoy a healthy breakfast at your own expense at four good restauarants in town.
Each room has selected DSTV with an exception to Skrywershuisie which has a television in the lounge.
Rooms have electrical blankets, warm water bottles, oil heaters and a kettle with tea/coffee for the next morning.
We are situated 110 kilometres from the N1 turn-off (all tarred road). From Calvinia we are 160 kilometres (gravel road) and from Fraserburg 110 kilometres (also gravel road).
For your reception, you must kindly report at Sterland, just 1 kilometre out of Sutherland on the main road in the direction of Matjiesfontein from where we will take you to your unit.
