The Shoe Ministries Guesthouse currently has 6 self-catering accommodation units and 3 en-suite rooms available.
Dr. Ron van Zyl, the builder and founder of The Shoe Ministries built 4 of the units from local dolomite stone quarried in the mountain, the other 4 units is a large farm house which was renovated and divided into 4 units.

Guests have access to the private outdoor cold water swimming pool, communal braai (BBQ) area and pool table. The Tea Garden on site is open for breakfast and light meals throughout the day. Dinner can be arranged on order.
Extra services includes: Washing of clothes and room service. The entire area is very safe. There are no covered or enclosed parking areas but cars are parked right outside your door and the huge lawns give freedom away from the cramped city spaces.
Walking trails and sightseeing around the Panorama Route are the main attractions.
You will go to sleep in deep darkness after a long stargazing session, accompanied by the howling of owls, jackals and other night life and wake up to the silence of farm life, the sound of bird choirs. Bed linen is supplied; towels are available on request free of charge.
Please note:
* The Shoe Guest House is in the process of going Green and because of the solar power no electric heaters will be supplied or allowed in our units. If you are staying in a stone built unit; 1 bag of free fire wood will be provided for you to burn in the indoor fire place. Any additional bags of wood can be purchased from the Kiosk. All beds are also provided with hot water bottles. Please keep this in mind before booking for this may be a problem to some guests.
* The swimming pool is only kept up during the summer months.
